Trevor read through court documents prior to writing the article to make sure he understood the information and was presenting the case in a factual manner.
Trevor pitched the idea for this story following the opening of Honolulu's historic rail system; he researched and synthesized information.
As an intern for KHON2 News, Trevor wrote for the digital team while also writing content for the newscasts. His articles were published under his own byline and he was able to work on more than 40 articles in the last three weeks of his internship.
